Originally known as Baird Street and named after Robert Baird, an oil and colour merchant.
The street runs from 222 Westmuir Street to Tollcross Road, it is named after the village of the same name in Fife.
By the early seventies both these works had disappeared from the landscape, and Camlachie Street is now no more than a disjointed track, and in no way reflects its lively past.
Runs off 394 Westmuir Street and is named after Queen Caroline.
At number 62 a four year old girl was injured when she fell twenty feet into the close stairwell on 6th October 1968.
